Local businesses are invited to learn from the experience and insight of Albert Bartlett as the VIBES Awards launch on 7th May 2014.

The Airdrie-based business, which specialises in potato production, secured an award at last year’s event which celebrates the success of businesses employing environmental best practice in their day-to-day activities.

Albert Bartlett won the Management Large category award which recognised their systems which ensure that waste, water and energy use are kept to a minimum. The family business has returned to sponsor this category at the 2014 awards.

To mark the opening of applications for the 2014 Vision in Business for the Environment of Scotland Awards, an event will be held at Albert Bartlett in Airdrie, where businesses can gain more information on the awards, as well as enjoy a tour of the award-winning environmentally-friendly facility.

To attend the event from 4pm to 6pm on Wednesday 7th May at Albert Bartlett in New Monkland, 251, Stirling Road, Airdrie, ML6 7SP, please email: vibes@sepa.org.uk
