VIBES is delighted to announce that of the 12 green businesses in the UK selected to go forward for the European Businesses Awards for the Environment (EBAE) 6 are from Scotland and were eligible to the scheme through their success in the VIBES Awards in the last 2 years.

The EBAE awards run every two years and celebrate the environmental and economic benefits of businesses throughout Europe. To be eligible to apply for the EBAE awards, businesses must first be successful in one of the accredited feeder schemes. There are 13 feeders’ schemes in the UK but the VIBES Award is the only one in Scotland. To have 50% of the successful entrants come from VIBES is a demonstration of the commitment Scottish businesses has toward environmental best practice.
