How are the winners selected?
Site visits are used to select winners from shortlisted candidates. A judging panel will select category winners and present their awards at a ceremony in December.
‘Special awards’ will also be awarded to outstanding organisations.
This Award is open to any organisation operating in Scotland. Applicants will be asked to put forward a site or premises for the awards. Organisations with numerous sites are welcome to make more than one application.
New for 2008, are four categories:
- VIBES management award 2008
- VIBES product/service award 2008
- VIBES process award 2008
- VIBES international co-operation award 2008
Each category will have winners from small businesses (less than 50 employees), medium sized companies (between 50 and 250 employees) and large organisations (more than 250 employees).
Within each category, is the potential for a ‘special award’.
